In keeping with CVT Myanmar’s Vision and Mission, the school has been working on various tracks to contribute to the national development goals by providing Vocational Dual Education / Apprenticeship in Myanmar since 2002. By continuous support in terms of technical and financial contribution from Switzerland, as well as in co-operation with public and private sectors and a network that now includes over 300 active partner training companies, the school has offered free of charge Vocational Education to over 60 E4Y graduates, 700 graduates in Apprentice Professions, and over 200 graduates in Capacity Building Programs. The training rooms and administration office have been offered by Myanmar Red Cross Society Building in Botahtaung Township.

However, the capacity of the school is more and more challenging every year. In order to continue providing high-quality vocational trainings and adjusting the capacity to demand, the requirements of major efforts and resources becomes crucial with the limited software and hardware capacity available.

Tremendous support by the Myanmar Ministry of Labor, Employment and Social Security (MOLES) and our donor organization, the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC), has given a further development opportunity to CVT Myanmar to become the Center of Excellence Model School in Myanmar within the next few years.

However, we believe a long-term sustainability of the school can only be created through a long-term local partnership and support. Therefore, CVT is now trying to reach out to the government sector, local and international associations, potential partner companies and SME enterprises in Myanmar to work together to support the underprivileged youth in Myanmar. We are looking for partners who are interested in supporting the CVT Myanmar projects, both morally and financially.

A long term 20 years development plan has been submitted to the Myanmar Ministry of Labor, Employment and Social Security, and the concept of contribution to CVT Apprentice Partner Companies has been introduced from 2017 / 2018 school year with the aim to cover the cost of the future school operation.

The CVT local administration organization has been expanded into three main areas; Relationship, School Operation and Development. A proper fund-raising committee has been formed and the ethical funding guidelines, policy and necessary documentations have been implemented.
